- Prepare the Food
- Before you enter the animal enclosures, make sure to prepare their food. You have one chance to check each animal before they show symptoms, so don’t head back to the train until you’ve done everything you can.
- Answer the Phone
- When the phone rings, make sure to answer it! A woman will give you a code to access important supplies from a locker, which will be crucial for your mission.
- Start the Investigation
- Push your cart to the animal enclosure. This is your “Investigation” phase:
- Check each animal’s temperature.
- Observe how they react to sound.
- Feed them and collect their droppings.
- Try to get blood samples from as many animals as possible. Don’t worry if some are a bit stubborn!

- Return to the train and analyze the samples you’ve collected.
- Not every animal will show symptoms, but at least one should. If multiple animals show similar symptoms, they likely share the same illness.

- As you head back to the enclosure, a mutant animal will appear. Don’t attempt to help the regular animals just yet. Instead, go back to the train for more supplies.

- Create some tranquilizers (sleeping darts) to help collect blood from the animals.
- Handle the Situation
- First, tranquilize a healthy animal to obtain blood for a vaccine.
- If the mutant is asleep, you can shoot it with a tranquilizer. It will wake up briefly but then go back to sleep, giving you time to prepare.
- In the train, create a vaccine for the illness. Each vaccine gives you three darts to use on the mutant.
- Return to the enclosure and shoot the mutant with the darts to cure it.
