In Mad Island, orbs are essential for trading and crafting items. You can find the trader in the grove, where you can exchange orbs for valuable goods.
Types of Orbs
Dead Orb
- Source: Dropped by ghosts and specters found in the ruins.
Mad Orb
- Source: Obtained from urns and male undergrounders located in the Dump of Exiles.
Giant Orb
- Source: Dropped by the giant.
- Note: Instead of fighting her, you can choose to seduce her. Just wait until your character raises their sword; when fully raised, the option to seduce will appear. She’s a valuable companion!
- Alternative: If you need the item associated with the Giant Orb, you can spawn another giant using cheat codes. Use
/npc 110to summon her.
Fighter/Fire Orb
- Source: Dropped by raiders above level 50.
- Tip: Construct a Hell Totem to increase the level of raiders by 50, making it easier to collect these orbs. However, be prepared for tough battles, as they are quite strong!
Life Orb
- Source: Obtained when a pregnant follower experiences a miscarriage, typically occurring if they give birth without a midwife.
- Alternative Method: Craft an abortion potion using one rotten food and one red herb (after taming the old man) to end a pregnancy and acquire a Life Orb.
