Magic City Detective 1 Walkthrough Guide
Completing puzzles in Magic City Detective 1 isn’t easy as it requires you to be the world’s best detective with sharp eyesight and good puzzle-solving skills. There are tasks available; each holds multiple objectives and mini-games to solve.
Task 1 – Print the Ticket
- Examine the book cupboard to discover the painting and tap the right-side painting to find the device.
- Head to the laptop on the table to obtain a bottle and the Notebook.
- Click the message icon on the screen to read the note.
- Tap the cupboard on the left side, click on the folder, and open the bag to obtain a magnifying glass.
- After that, move the bag aside to discover Papers and Pins.
- Get the books aside from the second shelf and find an Empty Ink Tank.
- Head to the doorway on the right side to enter the room and tap the table to put the Papers and Pins on the board.
- Next, tap the same board to start a mini-game to find hidden objects.
- Once you complete the puzzle, the game adds a Keycard to your inventory.
- Hit the back button to close the zoom view and tap the device you discovered after removing the painting.
- Use the keycard to scan and open the vault to get the Purse, Ink, and Figurine.
- Head to your panel, select and combine the ink and the ink tank.
- Select the figurine from your panel and place it on the box in the cupboard on the left side to open it.
- Once the box gets opened, collect Gloves and a Syringe.
- Select the Syringe from your pane, fill it with the ink, and inject it into the tank to complete it.

Task 2 – Take a Picture of Ymir
Task 2 is in a beautiful amusement park where you will discover different locations and statues. You must complete tasks to find clues and utilize them to solve tricky puzzles. This time, your goal is to find camera and put batteries to take a picture to complete the second objective.
- First, tap the boat on the right side, open the bag, and examine it to discover the Puppets and Discharged Camera.
- Now, tap the shop on the left side and give the money to the shopkeeper to get batteries and Venice Guidebook.
- Open the Camera from your panel and insert batteries to get a Charged Camera.
- Use the Camera to take a picture of Ymir after selecting it from your inventory.
Task 3 – Find Ymir
After completing the second task, you must go through the bridge to reach another side of the city and start your investigation to complete task 3, which is related to finding Ymir.
- Examine the table to discover a Ring Box and use the Water Bottle to extinguish the fire on the plate to get a Handle.
- Tap the canal bridge and tape the plate to start a mini-game, where your goal is to untangle the locks by dragging them to move them.
- When solving the puzzle, you must ensure that chains don’t overlap. Once you untangle a lock, it turns green.
- Once you solve the puzzle, the game adds a Love Lock to your panel for later use.
- Now, interact with the wall on the left side and tap the box near the board to get a Wrench and Chopsticks.
- Before leaving the box, don’t forget to use the Love Lock and attach the handle to pull the board and clear the passageway to the building.
Task 4 – Pacify the Manticore
- Enter the building to reach the hall, where you discover a lion threatening a woman.
- Tap the table behind the chairs and pick up the objects: Bag Detail, an Empty Plate, and a Food Dish.
- Visit the counter to discover a bag and tap on it to crack the lock, but first, don’t forget to add a Bag Detail on it to run a mini-game.
- You aim to rotate the petals and match their shapes to complete the painting.
- Once you open the bag, the game adds a Sleep Aid Potion to your panel.
- Select the food dish from your panel and put the Sleep Aid Potion; next, offer the Dreamy Seafood Dish to the lion and wait until it gets asleep.
Task 5 – Examine the Manticore for Clues
Completing the fourth task may unlock a new objective wherein you have to tap the ruined room where the lion is half-slept.
- Tap the room to open the zoom view and start finding symbols given below in a panel to solve the puzzle.
- Once you solve the puzzle, you will discover Ymir Snapshot from under the lion.
- Give Ymir Snapshot to the woman standing amidst the room and obtain Ymir’s Bag.
