PlayStation and BLACKPINK's LISA Reveal a Limited-Edition DualSense Controller
Sony and BLACKPINK's LISA unveiled a Chroma Pearl DualSense controller for PS5, PC and mobile, with US pre-orders live today ahead of an October 30 release.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and BLACKPINK's LISA have unveiled a new DualSense wireless controller built around the singer's own design choices, marking the second time the K-pop star has fronted a PlayStation hardware collaboration. US pre-orders for the pad opened at 10 a.m. ET today via PlayStation Direct, with a wider retail release set for October 30.
Nancy Kim, Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, Special Projects, and Licensed Merchandise Retail Marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment, framed the pad as a step beyond last year's partnership. "Last year, we teamed up with Lisa for the first time on our global PS5 campaign," Kim wrote on the PlayStation Blog. "Today, we're taking our collaboration a step further with an all-new DualSense wireless controller – Lisa Limited Edition designed with Lisa herself."
A Chroma Pearl Shell Covered in Personal Details
The controller swaps the standard DualSense finish for Chroma Pearl, which Sony describes as LISA's own favorite colorway. Her bangs and eyes are illustrated across the touchpad, alongside a scatter of her signature stars and a bold "LL" monogram set into the front of the shell, with her signature printed on the back panel. The result reads less like a licensed skin and more like a piece she had direct input on.

LISA's Own Role in the Design
LISA said she leaned on her own downtime habits while working on the pad. "Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax, so getting to create this collection with PlayStation was very exciting," she said. "I had a lot of fun adding in little details that I knew my fans would notice, and I wanted the fans to have something they can connect with. I've always loved expressing myself through music and fashion, so this collaboration gave me a new way to be creative and show a different side of myself."
That framing lines up with her existing PlayStation history. The Thai singer and BLACKPINK member first partnered with the brand on a 2025 global PS5 campaign built around her playing Astro Bot, Helldivers 2 and Tekken 8, which is the collaboration Kim referenced as the starting point for this follow-up.
Pricing and a Narrow Release Window
The DualSense Wireless Controller – LISA Limited Edition is priced at $84.99 in the US, with Sony listing €84.99, £74.99 and ¥12,480 (tax included) for other regions. Sony has repeatedly described the run as "highly limited," and the pad will be sold both through PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers worldwide once it launches on October 30, rather than staying a storefront exclusive.
Fans who want the full look can also pick up a matching merchandise line launching alongside it. Select pieces, including apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers and a hard-shell DualSense carrying case styled to match the controller, opened for pre-order on PlayStation Direct at the same time as the pad itself.
Sony is positioning the merchandise drop as a two-part rollout rather than a single release.

A Second Wave Tied to LISA's New EP
A further batch of the LISA x PlayStation collection is scheduled to go live on October 23 through LISA's own Amazon storefront, timed to the same day as her new solo EP, Press Play. Sony hasn't detailed exactly which items shift to that second wave, but the pairing with a music release suggests the brand is treating this as a fashion and lifestyle launch as much as a gaming accessory drop.
For a hardware release built around a single global celebrity face rather than a platform feature, that kind of layered rollout, store pre-order, retail launch, then a separate merch wave tied to unrelated content, is unusually elaborate, and it signals how much weight Sony is putting on LISA's existing fanbase to move a peripheral that would otherwise be a niche accessory story.
What's Still Unconfirmed
Sony has not said how many units of the controller will be produced, only that the run is limited "while supplies last," so buyers hoping to get one anywhere other than launch day pre-order windows should expect it to sell out quickly. There's also no word yet on whether the Chroma Pearl shell or any of its design elements will reappear in future peripherals, or whether this remains a one-off tied specifically to LISA.
