You don’t need to start any missions to find these journals, but you may need to progress through the main story to access certain areas. Here’s a detailed guide to help you find all three!
Location 1: Sterile Land Journal
- Begin by opening your map using the [G] key and navigate to Sterile Land.
- Fast travel to the Restricted Zone Outpost, which is located on the southern side of the area.
- From there, make your way to the High Powered Jammer Mission to get closer to your destination.
- The journal can be found on the south side cliffs, so head in that direction to locate it.

Location 2: Vespers Journal
- Open your map again by pressing [G] and head over to Vespers.
- Use the fast travel option to reach the Ruins Outpost situated on the southern side of Vespers.
- Once you arrive, direct yourself towards the Void Fragment Mission, which is located near the center-south of the area.
- You’ll need to climb to the top of the tall stone arched ruins to find the journal.
- Look carefully at the edge of these ruins; that’s where the journal is waiting for you.

Location 3: Echo Swamps Journal
- Start by opening your map once more using [G] and navigate to Echo Swamps.
- Fast travel to the Derelict Covert, which can be found on the northern side of the area.
- After you arrive, head towards the Ghost Marsh Mission, which is conveniently located near a bridge that you will start at.
- The journal is situated in one of the treehouses that are connected to the central hub, making it a bit tricky to spot.

- POV #1: Look for the treehouse that is linked to the central hub, as this will lead you to the journal.
- POV #2: You can also check out the Double Ring treehouse, which is another potential spot.
- POV #3: Finally, look for the Echo Swamp Journal, which is nestled within this complex of treehouses.
