RV There Yet? Wraps Its Trilogy With the St. Búttin Bay Finale Map
Nuggets Entertainment shipped RV There Yet?'s third and final map, St. Búttin Bay, closing out a game-jam project that has sold over 4.5 million copies.
Nuggets Entertainment has closed the book on RV There Yet?, the Swedish studio's runaway hit about hauling a broken-down camper home through hostile backcountry. On September 10, the developer released Map 3, St. Búttin Bay, on Steam and Xbox, calling it "ONE LAST RIDE" and the finale of what it now describes as a trilogy of maps built entirely after launch.
The update landed with no warning beyond a two-week heads-up video, in keeping with a studio that has spent the past year building a live game it never planned to run. What began as an eight-week game jam entry has become one of 2025 and 2026's biggest surprise sellers, and St. Búttin Bay is the clearest signal yet that Nuggets intends to keep supporting it rather than move on.
What's new in St. Búttin Bay
According to the studio's own patch announcement, the coastal map sends players back down Route 65 by way of a beach setting, with a new cast of animals, tools and narrative dialogue layered over the existing winch-and-teamwork loop that made the first map a co-op favorite. The patch also adds a fresh music set and, true to the game's comic tone, a round of new bugs alongside the new content.
- A new beach-themed map, St. Búttin Bay
- New wildlife, tools and narrative dialogue
- An expanded soundtrack covering the new region
- Beach-specific business: coconut drinks and paddle-ball among them

From a game jam to a multi-million seller
RV There Yet? started as an eight-week jam project before a short delay stretched development to roughly three months. It launched on Steam on October 21, 2025, and sold more than a million copies within its first week, a pace almost nobody inside Nuggets Entertainment expected. Community manager Jace Varlet summed up the studio's reaction to the early numbers bluntly.
Nuggets Entertainment is a small studio founded by former Coffee Stain developers and based in Skövde, Sweden, the same city that produced Goat Simulator and Satisfactory. RV There Yet? was never meant to be the team's next big project; it was a physics-comedy side experiment about winching a camper out of the mud, built around a co-op loop where one player drives while others scout routes, tow cables and hand out snacks to keep the group moving.
The game later crossed onto Xbox Series consoles and Xbox Game Pass, and by the time St. Búttin Bay shipped, cumulative sales across the trilogy of maps had passed 4.5 million copies. That trajectory has turned a small side project into one of the more closely watched independent releases of the past year, and it is why a "final" map still comes with a promise of more support rather than a quiet exit.
PS5 and full cross-play are still coming
Nuggets Entertainment has confirmed that a PlayStation 5 version is planned for the end of September into October, and that full cross-play between PC, Xbox and PlayStation will launch alongside it rather than with St. Búttin Bay itself. Until then, Steam and Xbox players can already team up, but PlayStation owners will have to wait a little longer to winch an RV out of the mud together with friends on other platforms.
“This is mind-blowing for everyone.”Jace Varlet, Community Manager, Nuggets Entertainment

That staggered rollout mirrors how the studio has handled the entire post-launch run: short, honest release windows instead of firm dates, delivered through its own YouTube channel and Steam community posts rather than a formal press campaign. It is an unusually informal way to manage a game that has sold in the millions, but it has also kept a notoriously online fanbase patient through three separate map launches.
What "final" actually means here
Nuggets Entertainment has been explicit that St. Búttin Bay is the last planned map for RV There Yet?, not a pause before a fourth. The studio has not announced a sequel or a new project, and anything beyond the PS5 launch and cross-play rollout remains unconfirmed. For now, the plan is simply to get every platform onto equal footing before moving on.
For a project that began as a joke about a broken-down camper, that is a fittingly understated way to wrap things up. Full details on the update, including the complete list of animals, tools and fixes, are in Nuggets Entertainment's own patch notes, and background on the game's development is collected on its Wikipedia page.
