PlayStation Store's Black Friday Sale Opens November 4 With Discounts Up to 75%
Sony's biggest storewide PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 discount event of the year kicks off November 4, cutting prices up to 75% on thousands of titles through November 30.
PlayStation Store's biggest discount event of the year is arriving a day earlier than shoppers might expect. Sony confirmed on November 3 that its Black Friday Deals open at midnight local time on Wednesday, November 4, cutting prices by up to 75% across thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, expansions and add-on content. The promotion runs through Monday, November 30, giving PlayStation owners nearly a month to work through a lineup that spans brand-new exclusives, long-running live-service staples and catalog classics.
When the Deals Start and End
According to the PlayStation Blog announcement, the full list of discounted titles and their regional pricing will only be revealed once the sale goes live on the dedicated Black Friday promotion page on PlayStation Store. Sony is treating the window as a rolling event rather than a single flat sale: a fresh batch of titles joins the promotion on November 16, while some of the discounts live today are scheduled to expire earlier, on November 20, ahead of the overall close on November 30. Pricing and availability will vary by region, and Sony's own post carries the standard caveat that details are subject to change before launch.
The Marquee Titles Leading the Preview
Sony's preview of the sale, published alongside the announcement, leads with Marvel's Wolverine Digital Deluxe Edition, Insomniac Games' PS5 exclusive that has been one of the platform's strongest sellers since its launch window. It's joined in the preview by UFC® 6 Ultimate Edition, Valheim, Mortal Shell II, NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition, SAROS Digital Deluxe Edition, 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition and The Blood of Dawnwalker – Eclipse Edition.

- Marvel's Wolverine Digital Deluxe Edition
- UFC® 6 Ultimate Edition
- Valheim
- Mortal Shell II
- NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition
Exclusives and New Editions Also Getting Cuts
The preview list stretches well beyond that first wave. ASTRO BOT and PRAGMATA Deluxe Edition are both included, alongside two of the platform's higher-profile upcoming releases in bundled form, SILENT HILL: Townfall and Echoes of Aincrad Deluxe Edition. Also on the list are Beast of Reincarnation, Diablo® IV: Lord of Hatred™ – Standard Edition, The Sinking City 2 and Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, giving the sale a spread that runs from this year's newest releases to decades-old franchises getting a fresh look on PS5.

New Titles Join Mid-Sale, Some Deals End Early
Sony is explicit that this preview is only a sample of what's coming. The full catalog of discounts, which the company says will cover thousands of games, expansions and DLC packs, unlocks only once the storefront's dedicated promotion page goes live with the sale itself. Shoppers who wait past November 16 will see additional titles added to the mix, but anyone eyeing a specific discount should also watch the calendar from the other direction: some offers are scheduled to drop off the page on November 20, ten days before the promotion as a whole winds down on November 30.
What It Means for PS5 Shoppers This Season
The early start puts PlayStation's sale ahead of the traditional Black Friday weekend and squarely into the same stretch of November that's already crowded with new releases and other platform holders' own promotions. Headlining the preview with Marvel's Wolverine is a deliberate choice: the Insomniac exclusive has stayed near the top of Sony's own monthly download charts since launch, and discounting its Digital Deluxe Edition gives the studio's biggest recent release a second sales push heading into the holidays. For PS5 owners who held off on day-one purchases, the next four weeks are shaping up to be the cheapest window of the year to catch up.
