Warhammer Survivors Locks In a November 10 PS5 Launch With Two New Champions
Auroch Digital confirmed Warhammer Survivors launches on PS5 November 10, revealing two new champions, Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya, in today's trailer.
Auroch Digital confirmed today that Warhammer Survivors launches on PlayStation 5 on November 10, pairing the release date with a new trailer that reveals two previously teased champions: the Adepta Sororitas commander Morvenn Vahl and the Age of Sigmar thief Lyssa Revenya.

The news arrived in a post on the PlayStation Blog written by Auroch Digital designer Ellie Harrodine, closing the release-date gap the studio had left open since confirming PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions of the game earlier this year. Wishlisting and pre-orders opened immediately on the PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Plus members get a 10% discount on the pre-order price.
A Bullet-Heaven Game Built on a Growing License
Warhammer Survivors was first announced for PC as a licensed take on the bullet-heaven genre popularized by games like Vampire Survivors, built around waves of enemies that swarm the screen while a lone hero mows them down with auto-firing, upgradeable weapons. Console versions followed in April, and today's reveal is the first time Auroch Digital has paired a PS5 release date with new playable content rather than a platform announcement alone.
Who Is Morvenn Vahl?
Vahl had only appeared in the game's key art until now. In the Warhammer 40,000 timeline she rose from a young Celestian Superior to High Abbess Sanctorum, supreme commander of the Adepta Sororitas, and the version revealed today keeps that rank front and center. She strides the battlefield in an ornate Paragon Warsuit armed with the Heavy Bolter Fidelis, a weapon that sprays an arc of bolter shells and carries a chance to trigger a miracle that temporarily boosts its own rate of fire. Its evolved form, the Purgator Mirabilis, adds the warsuit's Paragon Missile Launcher, layering sporadic explosive salvos on top of the bolter spray for crowd control against the game's Tyranid and Ork swarms.
Lyssa Revenya Crosses Over From the Mortal Realms
Where Vahl represents the grim future of the 41st millennium, Lyssa Revenya pulls from Warhammer Age of Sigmar instead. She is a thief and tomb-robber originally from the city of Lethis, now fighting as part of the Saviours of Cinderfall, a band of heroes who operate out of Hammerhal. Her starting weapon, Rope and Grapnel, fires hooks that either damage enemies directly or drag them toward her, useful for herding the Skaven hordes she is built to fight. Its evolution, Ghost of Rhea, conjures a screaming banshee that blankets the battlefield in damaging fog, turning Revenya's kit from single-target control into area denial.
Two Warhammer Universes, One Roster
Letting a 41st-millennium commander and a Mortal Realms rogue share a roster has been central to how Auroch Digital has pitched Warhammer Survivors since its original PC announcement: a bullet-heaven survivors game built entirely on licensed Games Workshop characters and weapons rather than original stand-ins. Vahl and Revenya push the roster past 40 playable champions at launch, spanning both settings alongside the cross-universe oddities the game has already shown off, including a playable set of D6 dice and the Ork warboss Ghazghkull Thraka as a recurring Extremis-class boss encounter.
What's Still Unconfirmed
Auroch Digital has not announced PS5 pricing for Warhammer Survivors beyond the PlayStation Plus pre-order discount, and today's post does not give a release-day roadmap for the Xbox Series X|S, Switch or Switch 2 versions beyond their existing 2026 commitment. Warhammer Community's own coverage of the reveal confirms Vahl and Revenya as canon additions to the roster rather than guest crossovers, but neither Auroch Digital nor Games Workshop has said whether more characters will be revealed before launch.

With a November 10 date now locked in, Warhammer Survivors becomes one of the more unusual licensed bullet-heaven games to reach PS5 this year, betting that the Imperium's grimdark iconography and the Mortal Realms' gothic fantasy can share a single battlefield of fleeing pixel-art hordes without flattening either setting's identity.
